The Brief
Obol wanted to explore a docuseries about the company, its story and the world around it.
Before moving into production, the idea needed a clear creative shape - something that could show the tone, pace and potential of the series. BERTA created a pitch film to make that vision easier to understand.
The Direction
The series needed to feel bigger than a company profile. We approached it as a story about people, technology, culture and the strange space where all of them meet. The goal was to create a tone that felt curious, sharp and watchable - less “startup explaining itself,” more a world people would want to follow.
The Edit
The pitch was built entirely from existing content. Through selection, pacing, contrast and structure, we cut scattered material into a trailer-like piece that suggested what the series could become. The edit gave the idea a rhythm, a point of view and a reason to exist beyond the brief.
What It Shows
Obol shows BERTA’s ability to shape a story before a full production exists.
The project proves how editing and creative direction can turn existing material into a clear vision - one that makes a larger idea feel possible.
